An AI agent that turns long video courses into guides you can actually read.
Great video courses are everywhere. Great written guides, not so much. We're building an AI agent that works through a whole course on its own and hands back a proper written guide. Still in progress.
What was broken
Some people learn better by reading than by watching. The trouble is that the best-structured lessons often only exist as hours of video. Skimming a video doesn't work, and short summaries skip the explanations you need to actually learn. The goal was to keep the course's structure and teaching, and lose the video.
What we built
The agent opens a course and goes through it lecture by lecture, reading what's said along with anything shown on screen, like code, slides and diagrams. It then rewrites each lecture as a readable page: a short summary, a full explanation, code where it's needed, and key takeaways at the end. Sections become chapters, and everything lands in Notion as one tidy guide. It runs on a local machine, so it can get through a full course overnight.
What changed
This one is still being built. The plan, the output format and the hardware are sorted, and the first working version is on its way. It started as a personal fix for not wanting to sit through hours of video, and it's turning into a proper AI agent that takes you from course link to finished guide.
